Release Notes for Multi page utilities on DjVu 3.0.0 BETA

This software is a Beta release, meaning it should be considered work in progress.
In particular, if problems are found in any of the commands, or formats
that are used, they may be modified or completely rewritten for the stable
release.  We have not tested everything as completely as we would have
liked and almost daily we find minor bugs, so check the server regularly
for updates.  However, we have successfully used this Beta version to
convert hundreds of documents without problems.  This version is stable
enough that we are willing to offer it for release outside of AT&T.

and indicate the exact version number of DjVu you are using.

WHAT IS NEW WITH 3.0 COMMANDS djvureindex, djvujoin and djvubundle

 1. djvureindex, djvujoin and djvubundle have been newly written.

 2. Multi level error recovery possible.

 3. Profiles can be pre stored.

NOTE:  Sometimes error recovery from a corrupted file may lead to an 
       incorrect file.

NOTE2: Currently all the included binaries are linked both statically and
       dynamically.  Expect only dynamic binaries in the final release.

NOTE3: Static libraries were built by gcc version 2.95.1. In order to 
       link with static libraries, you should use the same version of the
       compiler.

NOTE4: There is a known bug with the --config option not working correctly.
       this option will be fixed before the final release.
